Once completed, Lucy decided to take a year out to focus on where she wanted to take her passion, during this time she was fortunate enough to experience new opportunities and discover what it was like to be a professional dancer. From backing with Singer Olly Murrs to performing in Alesia Dixons music video “Lets get Excited”. Lucy has also participated in Dance Excellence LA, a large scale dance workshop run by the Young Americans. After exploring these avenues she decided to take a different route of training and chose to begin a degree at Falmouth University in dance performance. Now in her third year, she has grown as both a performer and artist and intends to take her training further by studying personal training, so she can teach community based classes.

BEBEE HARVEY

Bebee started contemporary dance whilst studying for her A levels in Bristol. Before then her dance training had only ever been in Ballet, so when she discovered contemporary dance she was filled with a thirst to explore what her body was capable of and find new ways to push herslef. It was around this time when she decided to commit herself to dance and study it at an Undergraduate level. Throughout the course of her degree she became increasingly interested in site- specific work, and the way in which the use of film could be used as a platform for watching dance. This interest has influenced her work greatly; most recently she has spent four months exploring these interests in Iceland, creating a movie which explores the origins of creativity in the individual.

She has also worked on site specific and film projects. Debbie recently returned from a period of study at the Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlan, Mexico, with Delfos Dance Company. During her time in Mexico she developed a research project around language and communication through creative practices, choreographic collaboration and writing.
